Photographer's notes:
I took this picture at Quintana Beach County Park Sunday morning. It was a huge waterspout (I call it a tornado) in the Gulf. It was awesome! It lasted for about 15 minutes then just disintegrated in seconds.

Like bad jokes, good photographs tend to circulate around the internet, relayed from person to person by email. This blog is a repository for such photos.
These are unique photos of unusual artistic or scientific merit (or else they're fakes). They happened to come my way by email, and I have intercepted them and posted them here. Click on any photo to enlarge it.
In most cases, I have no idea who originally launched these photos on their endless odysseys, and I do not know who owns the copyrights to the original photos. If you are the owner of the copyright for any photo, please feel free to contact me at interceptedphotos@gmail.com
